Leadership Volunteering
Leadership Volunteers help set project goals, procedures and timelines for the Society. Here are the available positions:
Committee Chairs: Each Committee Chair has a seat on the Advisory Board. This is an excellent leadership opportunity.
This board discusses and makes recommendations for action that advance the program goals and mission of the Society. It helps determine how the Society can be of most service to San Diego and will craft a strategy and implement and evaluate a plan for success. The Chair position is a one-year, renewable commitment with flexible hours. We appreciate your contribution!
Description of duties:
- Creating and implementing a plan for your projects, including organizing volunteers.
- Communicating with other committees of the board.
- Designing evaluation tools to determine the committee's progress.
