Marianella was born and raised in New York, where she attended St. John’s University and graduated with a degree in criminal justice, initially intending to pursue a career in investigations.
However, she later decided to shift her focus to nursing. Marianella received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University and has been practicing in the field for sixteen years, specializing in pediatric critical care. For eight of those years, she worked in a level one trauma hospital in Orlando as a charge nurse, preceptor, and language resource educator, before transitioning to travel nursing, gaining experience in pediatric, cardiac, and neonatal intensive care units across the United States.
To educate and advocate for the children she cares for has always been a passion of hers.
In her free time, Marianella enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with her French bulldog, Jet.
