Arriving from Morocco to France at the age of three and raised within a multilingual and multicultural environment, Youssef attended university in his home city of Nantes, earning a Master’s degree in Mathematics as well as his French national teaching credential (Certificate of Aptitude for Secondary School Teachers). Youssef has taught at Middle School, High School and University levels for eight years, driven by a constant desire to inspire in his own students the same degree of passion he himself shares for the beauty and utility of Mathematics. Among other downtime interests, Youssef plays both basketball and soccer; and, he also loves reading, especially poetry.
