Born in Oakland, CA and raised in San Diego. Mike studied Business Management at San Diego State University. While attending college, Mike worked at a before and after school program in La Mesa for 13 years. It was there he found his passion to work with students as he developed countless relationships with students, families and staff.

Now entering his 2nd year at SDFAS, Mike hopes to continue building positive connections with this community. He strives to be a role model for the students and to support their growth both in the classroom and as individuals.
