French native, Sophie Naman is an experienced educator with a passion for art, dance, and world cultures. With teaching certifications from the French Ministere de l’Education, and from the State of California, a Master in Cultural Anthropology, and a Master in Urbanism and Sustainable Development from Universite d’Aix-Marseille, she has dedicated 18 years years to teaching Kindergarten students in both countries, and two year at SDFAS. Known for integrating games and art that support academic growth, Sophie fosters a classroom environment that encourages playfulness, Social Emotional Learning, creativity, and critical thinking. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and spending time with her teenage daughter.
