Isabelle Roy
French as a Foreign Language & French Program Support

Isabelle was born and raised in Burgundy, France, and graduated from the University of Burgundy in Dijon with a Bachelor of Literature and Philosophy. Passionate about seeing the world, she worked in Tourism for a major French airline company which enabled her to travel extensively. She then decided to move to Morocco where she started her career in Education. In 2006, she settled down in the United States to pursue her love of teaching French as a foreign language at Acadomia, CCLS, Consulate of Canada amongst others. During this period, she also received her DAEFLE diploma. She then moved to New York State and taught FLE in Montessori, Elementary, Middle, and High school levels as well as French AP classes. She now enjoys the great weather of San Diego, where she spends most of her free time with her family and friends, doing yoga, hiking, and playing golf.
