Girard Gourmet offers school lunches that are healthy and balanced. Meals are prepared offsite (at Girard Gourmet’s catering location in Jolla Village). Each day, they are delivered freshly made and served at school each full school day. Girard Gourmet often uses fresh organic produce locally grown on their farm in Julian. The menus are built around seasonally available fresh produce. Girard Gourmet provides non-disposable or eco-friendly utensils.

You will need to register for the lunch service online. No registrations will be accepted on paper. If your child forgets his own lunch, an emergency school lunch may be purchased online from Girard Gourmet.

Each child must be registered separately. Select Preschool or K–8 Meal Plans and then choose your preferred option. Please ensure that you fill out all required fields. Add your selection to the cart and proceed to billing. Payment is accepted through PayPal or via credit card. You will receive a confirmation of payment and meal plan selection by email. Pricing and menus are available when you register online. The lunch program starts on the first day of school and ends in June. Menus are published four months in advance for your convenience. 

**PLEASE NOTE: Girard Gourmet is unable to accommodate any allergies or food sensitivities. Students with known food allergies must inform the school nurse prior to signing up for the school meal program.

Lunch Program

Registration can be done for the whole year or per trimester:

  • August–December
  • January–June


  • 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday)
  • 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
  • Vegetarian option (Friday).
  • 5 days a week

2023–2024 Pricing

  • Preschool per semester: $294.00–$714.00
  • K–8 per trimester: $315.00-$765.00
  • Per day lunch or “emergency lunch” (when not prepaid):
    Pre-Elementary: $7.00
    Elementary: $7.50

*A sack lunch will be substituted during field trips for registered children. Parents who chaperone field trips need to bring their own lunch. There is no lunch on minimum days or during the vacation breaks of October, February and April.
