A few weeks ago, SDFAS had the privilege of hosting the very first HERstory – Paroles de Femmes event. Throughout the morning, a group of inspiring women from our community generously shared their personal and professional journeys with our elementary and middle school students.
Through their presentations, our students were exposed to a remarkable diversity of paths and experiences. From entrepreneurship, leadership, science, technology, international careers, and the arts, to stories of resilience, personal growth, and pursuing one’s passions; the conversations were authentic, thoughtful, and deeply engaging.
This was our very first HERstory event, and thanks to these remarkable women, it was an unforgettable one. Given the enthusiasm from both students and faculty, we are delighted to share that HERstory will return next year and will continue to grow as a special moment of inspiration and connection within our community.
