Our very own SDFAS students made the news as top winners at a major science fair! We’re so proud of 7th graders Eva and Julianna for their remarkable victory at the 74th Annual California Science and Engineering Fair. They earned 1st Place in Environmental Engineering: Pollution for their fully custom-built beach-cleaning robot, a powerful example of their passion for sustainability and innovation.
For the occasion, journalist Noah Lyons from La Jolla Light visited our campus to interview our exceptional students.
Special mentions to two other SDFAS students Amélie (3rd Place Winner) and Martin who also participated in the California Science and Engineering Fair, after receiving 1st place in their designated categories at the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair (GSDSEF).
