We celebrated the vibrant diversity of SDFAS with our annual International Week! Over the course of five exciting days, students were encouraged to wear cultural attire to school, sparking meaningful conversations among peers.
The campus buzzed with joy as students proudly shared stories, traditions, and favorite dishes that reminded them of home. The week’s highlight was the much-anticipated Travel Around the World experience in the auditorium!
Armed with their passports, our young globetrotters embarked on an unforgettable journey, visiting booths representing countries from around the world. Each booth offered a glimpse into the history, traditions, art, and unique exports of its country. Students sampled foods, explored cultural artifacts, and even learned songs and dances through interactive mini-lessons.
This extraordinary event was made possible by our wonderful parent volunteers, who hosted the booths and guided students through their cultural explorations. By the end of the week, students eagerly collected stamps in their passports, a perfect memento of their journey around the globe.
