Originally from Brittany, Gladys left France in 2004 after completing her studies. She spent five years in Prague and seven years in Sweden, where she taught French at both the elementary and high school levels. During her time in Sweden, she also worked in preschool, gaining valuable insights into Scandinavian educational practices.
In 2018, Gladys moved to San Diego and joined the San Diego French-American School, initially as a substitute teacher across grades PK0 to 8th, before transitioning to her current role as a PK1 and Toddlers teacher. She has three children who attended SDFAS: Eliot (4th grade), Annouk (10th grade), and Maelig (12th grade).
She is passionate about travel, she enjoys meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, riding, and swimming.
