Originally from Brazil, Mr. Bessa moved to the United States when he was just nine years old. He has lived in San Diego ever since and has no plans to leave! Outside of the classroom, he enjoys running along Mission Beach with his dog and exploring new restaurants around the area.

Mr. Bessa lives with his wife and their two children—a cat and a dog. As a family, they love traveling and going on adventures, which is one of the many reasons he is fascinated by the field of Social Studies. He enjoys learning about new places and people and believes that these experiences offer wonderful opportunities for personal growth.
