Our preschool students enjoyed a special visit from Garden of Eden Petting Zoo, a much-anticipated annual tradition at SDFAS. The traveling petting zoo brought a variety of friendly animals to campus, including goats, chickens, rabbits, alpacas, sheep, and more.
The visit gave students the opportunity to observe and interact with many of the same animals they have been learning about in the classroom. Seeing these animals up close helped reinforce classroom lessons while sparking curiosity and excitement about the natural world.
Experiences like these provide meaningful opportunities for young learners to connect their studies to real-life experiences. From meeting a curious goat to watching a fluffy rabbit hop by, the visit was filled with memorable moments and joyful discoveries.
We are grateful to Garden of Eden Petting Zoo for another wonderful visit and look forward to welcoming them back next year for this favorite preschool tradition.
