Our Preschool division enjoyed a jam-packed morning of activities surrounding the upcoming Chinese New Year! Parents were invited to volunteer as craft, coloring, tattoo, and story time stations brought the children together to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and discover the significance of the Lunar New Year in Chinese culture. Students were all invited to dress in red or traditional wear along with their teachers to fully embrace the festivities. The occasion brought an onslaught of excitement as students were free to visit each station and unleash their creativity by working individually or in groups to bring their artistic ideas to life.
SDFAS offers a plethora of multicultural activities in the school year to encourage open mindedness and bring together a vibrant community!
